Lisa Beever, Senior Product Designer
Remote, from the High Peak, UKI fix the journeys people drop out of.
I’m Lisa, a senior product designer with 12+ years of experience making complex digital experiences simpler, smarter and more effective.
I’ve worked across ecommerce, fintech and SaaS, including brands like Seasalt and Joules, tackling everything from onboarding and search to checkout and conversion. I enjoy getting to the heart of a problem, challenging assumptions and finding solutions that work for both users and the business.
My approach is hands-on and outcome-focused. I bring research, strategy and experimentation together to turn insights into ideas, ideas into prototypes and prototypes into products. I work closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to make sure we’re solving the right problems, not just designing polished screens.
I’m excited by how AI is changing product design. I use it to speed up exploration, research synthesis and prototyping, while also thinking about what makes AI-powered experiences useful, transparent and trustworthy.
Above all, I believe great design should feel effortless, be accessible to everyone and make a measurable difference. Because the real measure of success isn’t what ships. It’s what improves.
What I work on.
The problems teams bring me in for.
Where I do my best work.
Teams that ship often and test what they ship. In a larger company I sit with product, engineering and the business and own part of the journey end to end. At a startup with no PM, I frame the problem, talk to customers, set the metric and get it built.
Outside work: three kids, iced coffee, Taylor Swift on repeat and a Gilmore Girls rerun before bed.

How I work.
Small bets, real prototypes, fast feedback, shipped.
1. Research
Interviews, usability tests, diary studies, journey maps. AI handles first-pass synthesis, so I get from raw notes to a clear problem in hours, not days.
2. Prototype
Figma for structure, code for behaviour. AI coding tools get a working prototype in front of real customers fast, at the fidelity the decision needs.
3. Experiment
One hypothesis, one primary metric, guardrails agreed up front. A/B tests and funnel analysis, qual and quant read together. For AI features, a test set with a pass bar.
4. Ship and measure
Launch with engineering, then judge it on what moved: conversion, retention, task success. Losing tests get written up too.
Collaboration
Embedded with product, engineering and the business, or running the whole loop solo when there is no PM. One shared scoreboard.
