How Tails works
A 56-second motion graphics explainer: why handing your dog to a stranger is hard, then how Tails answers it with owner reviews, dog profiles, easy booking and the My Tails countdown.
The idea
Handing your dog to a stranger takes trust. Most walker apps lead with price and availability, and leave owners guessing who will turn up at the door.
Tails is a concept that leads with trust instead. It connects owners with local walkers they can get to know before booking, and keeps every walk visible afterwards.
Getting started
The first screen splits owners and walkers straight away, so each side only sees the journey meant for them. Owners see real reviews from other owners before they're asked for anything.
Sign-up is one tap with Facebook, Google or email, and only appears at the point of contacting a walker. Owners can browse freely first, then tell Tails about their dog so matches fit their size, energy and routine.
Bookings that feel personal
Bookings are written the way people talk about them: "Nala is booked for a walk with Lucy at 2:15pm on 04/08". The walker's face sits on every card, so owners always know who's coming.
My Tails keeps the dog at the centre, with a countdown to the next walk. A warm orange palette, friendly illustrations and outdoor photography keep the whole app feeling more like a local community than a marketplace.
